From 2002 till 2009, Lesa supervised and operated the Macquarie University Observatory public outreach program, including observing on Friday nights and operations of the portable planetarium.

Sydney Observatory
Since October 2008, Lesa has been working as a sky guide and astronomy educator for Sydney Observatory. This observatory houses the oldest working telescope in Australia and many other historical exhibits. It also offers a 3D theatre, planetarium and viewing with a modern telescope.
